Looking for a full exhaust system for your 2023+ Civic Type R. Want something a little louder than stock but not too loud. You just found it, our Sports Touring Q-Spec for the FL5.
New Q-Spec offers a deep sporty tone without being overly loud. Using the different mode or settings, the exhaust valve function basically allows the user to select between two distinct exhaust sound levels. In comfort mode (valve closed), the exhaust note is just a bit louder than stock. Great for long drives, passengers in the back seats, or when you don't want your draw added attention. In Sport or R+ mode, the valve is basically open, and the exhaust note is what you want from Honda's flagship Type R. Deep, aggressive tone when accelerating and subtle pops during decel.

FRONT PIPE AND MIDPIPE A 3" front over pipe with high quality flex tube is included. This allows the midpipe section of the exhaust to be full 3" and includes a large, straight through design resonator. No reducer or step down transitions. Full 3" from the downpipe/ catalytic converter back. Other systems that are compatible with factory front over pipe will likely have a section that is under 3" to properly bolt to the oem front over pipe. Our system has no step down therefore, it is not compatible with the factory front over pipe.
SOUND If you are looking for a sporty exhaust that more matches the Type R name, this is it. Louder than the factory exhaust but not too loud. The K20C1 comes alive and the sound matches the feel when the turbo hits full boost. This system was designed to be quieter, more subtle, and have less drone than our other systems. When the exhaust valve is open, you get an aggressive exhaust note, and little burbles on decel. When the valve is closed, there is a noticeable sound change. Driving around it is like transforming into something we would consider OEM+. We experienced very little drone with this system when the exhaust valve is open and virtually no drone when the valve is closed*.
NOTE: Our testing was performed on a Type R with no engine modifications. Stock downpipe, stock tune, stock everything when it comes to the engine. Sound will differ with aftermarket DP, ECU tune, turbo upgrade, and possibly even aftermarket intake kit.
*Drone is highly subjective, so there will be vastly varying opinions.
